Other than some major shopping plaza in BKK and massage parlors residential examples of neoclassical architecture appear to be rare.

At least they tried to make it look appealing but seems somewhat out of place.

The whole idea of striking architecture is that it is completely out of context with everything around it. That's how it becomes memorable.....eg. The gherkin, the eiffel tower, the glass house louvre, sydney opera.

This is the same. Definitely western influenced, Georgian style features, dummy quoins and lintels and detailed plinth courses.

This will be copied now like most other things that the west creates.
