Well i am getting lots of info i am wondering about and now i need to find out about how and what we need to do for her to marry me in Australia?

I was going to have a wedding in my garden nothing lavish ..

How long after we marry is she allowed permanent residency?

Will she have to return to Thailand before she is accepted as Australian citizen?

Do we tell embassy or visa app centre about our plans to marry on her next visa?

If i can get some assistance before we do our application i would appreciate that and any other information i may have not inculded ...

you can marry your girl in Oz but you will have to re-apply for a spouse visa overseas if she is on a tourist one, but I have heard of this condition being wavered.

the permanent visa takes 2 years from the spouse visa application and you have to submit supporting evidence of an ongoing and serious relationship, 2 years after that citizenship.
