Thanks guys, yes I've been to their website a couple of times.

Guess it's time to mission out there myself.

If there are any South African's out there who've applied for a new passport, please would you tell me how long it actually took for it to arrive?

I have rumours from others anywhere from 3 to 6 months unless you fast track it ie pay more money

I had to get a new SA passport and was told it will take 6 months from the embassy. I used a service called passport assist and got a new passport in a month. Cost a little extra buts it's a good service.
