Nice Hotel on nice beach, Samui

Featured Replies

I'm trying to find recommendations for a nice hotel on or very close to a very nice beach on Samui,

I'd prefer to be quite close to some other bars and restaurants, etc but don't want to right in the middle of it as this break will be a romantic one. A nice hotel with nice pool and close access to the beach would be great and something which is a short motorbike drive/taxi away from some bars or restaurants. Won't be interested in night clubs so just some different restaurants and a few bars will be fine.

Do I need to go to Chwaeng Beach to find this or can I got to another beach? I read some good things about Lamai and Choengmon and Bo Phut.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated. If it makes a difference I plan to visit the first week of August

Thanks

I could write a novel now, but you need to be a bit more specific, especially in terms of pricing. I can't type as fast as hotel names pop up in my mind....

Four Seasons, Napasai, Santiburi, Zazen, W Resort, Anantara Bophut, The Scent, Sala, Muang Samui Villas, Six Senses, Akaryn, Sareeraya, Muang Samui Chaweng, Buri Rasa, Centara, Poppies, Vanabelle, New Star, Banyan Tree, Meridien, Conrad, Intercon, ....as usual, money talks!

South Lamai is the place you wanna be or South Chaweng. First August week is top high season, btw. Many places are full, but not all.
