Cruises from Bangkok or Laem Chabang

I am interested in doing a cruise from Bangkok...does anyone know which cruise lines do it or a good Travel Agent who can organize one for me. I am looking for a 10 day cruise say around Asia or india something like that on one of the big Cruise liners. Appreciate all suggestions or referrals.

The reputable cruise lines sail from Singapore. Thailand is only a stop. If you want to stay on a safe vessel and have decent service you best consider Singapore as the point of origin. The cruise lines will usually offer a decent airfare as part of the package.

Quite correct. Doubt you would be able to Board the cruise in BKK, so Singapore looks like the best embarkation Port for you.

I suggest looking at www.iglucruise.com a Uk company that I have found very responsive and very reliable. There is at least one cruise leaving Bangkok during March to Mumbai and I think another to Dubai and then onward to the Med. There are others leaving Singapore but not much later than March/April.

do not buy air from cruiseline.....best options are sin to hkg or vice versa....several big lines like holland america, celebrity, princess do this every year from nov til march

I would not go on any cruise ship unless it is completely no-smoking.

A horrible experience, surrounded by bloated and pasty buffet grazers.

Those who feel it is their right to foist cigarette smoke on all and sundry.
