Slyvania Home Dome Ceiling Lights; Where to find cover retaining clips? Arghhh

Featured Replies

The plastic cover domes of Sylania's home, ceiling mounted lights are held on with cheap plastic clips that break easily. Went to 2 separate lighting stores only to get the " No Hab " nasal tone. ( and no the huge place ( Gawd I cannot stand that.. Hold nose and say in loud monotone," No habbbbbbbbb"

followed by the infuriatingly insipid giggle.

"Must buy the whole unit " [ insipid giggle] (at 300 baht each.)

Tell me it isn't so. Google is not helping either. Does Sylvania even offer these clips? If not, certainly will never buy another product of theirs.

The Super Watsadu in Thalang was no help whatsoever but did find lots of other stuff for a good price. If only they had a place to buy something to drink after lunchtime ( cafeteria was closed )

They may well find the clips missing from their numerous display units. I need about 9 of them .

They look like cable clips for pinning electrical cables to wooden frames and rafters from what i can see. A box will not cost much so it maybe worth a try. Otherwise here is the email for Sylvania in Australia and they may be able to post you some :

Pisses me off the "no hab " spin but here is something 300% more expensive and the smirk when they think of the monthly sales bonus they will earn just for being an a*s*hole..
