Cond/apt Wanted For November In Phuket

Hi, my husband and I are planning to come for a month in November to do some research for retirement planning. Instead of a hotel we would like to rent a condo or apartment (2br), something between 40-60k thb preferably in a more quiet area near the beach. I havn't seen much on the net, can anyone recommend where to look? or a R/E agent? I am kinda cautious on the individual advertisments...don't know if they are for really or scam.

Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks :o

Pretty standard for Thailand is a one year contract, 1st month rent + 2 months deposit, with deposit return questionable at best. good luck, I've had none in this regard having forfeited deposits for no reason by your typical Thai unscrupulous landlords that are oh so prevalent. Your best bet is find a farang to rent from and worry even then

Disregard the above ... Holiday rentals are common ... (sig higher than monthly by the year) So far I have gotten all of my deposits back as well less the last months utilities and minor damage that I did in fact cause.

I saw a realtor site listed on one of the other threads on this sub-forum ... think it was the SBR wanted ... take a look.

Found it ...
