A bit surprised this hasn't been posted before, but the Tourist Authority of Thailand has reportedly ditched "Amazing Thailand". They've now managed to find an even worse slogan: "Thailand: Best Friend Forever" to be used in a 200 million Baht campaign. Apparently the new campaign will "lift consumer confidence".

Can't post a link to the English language newspaper website where I read this - it's verboten.

What's amazing is how much countries spend on trying to get tourists in the door. Just the slogan designs are worth a fortune.

They should go with what everyone uses now "This is..........Thailand"

Use the gap after "this is" to infill with promotional footage material.

Could have multiple uses and applications, from tourism, to expats, to sex trade, almost anything.
