I understand the final bank statement should be less than one month old. Is this from the date when the application is submitted (and paid for online) or the date when the supporting documentation is submitted?

My final bank statement is dated within a month of the date I paid online.

However, it took a while to organize an appointment at VFS, so it will be slightly over a month old when my wife submits the documents.

I'd appreciate a quick reply because my wife will be handing these in tomorrow.

Not sure of the answer but, as most accounts can be accessed via the internet, could you not just print off the balance of your account just before your appointment at VFS?
