anyone done a border bounce from samui lately

Featured Replies

im wondering if it is now 30 days or 15 days, there seems to be a lot of different info out there. Has anyone done the easyway or any other run last week or two and got 30 days? this will be my first land border crossing....came in by plane from uk a month ago.

You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry because the UK is a G7 country (rule change Nov. 2013).

awesome thanks! was told they were only doing it if you first were entering thailand...good news!

Ubonjoe is assuming you have an UK passport, just flying in from there (before) wouldnt be enough. ;) Just wanted to clarify/make sure.

Same for Australian as well?

Sorry, it seems like Australia is not included. I found those countries: U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan.

what towns is best to go for border bounce? Thanks

Depends entirely on wheher or not you 'go it alone' or use a visa run company.

If you are driving (a car) yourself, for me I find it easiest to spend a couple of days away, catching the 11 am ferry, staying in Songkhla the first night, leisurely drive down to Sadao or Padang Besar next day, back to Songkhla stay overnight and back to Donsak for the 3pm ferry.

Don't forget to visit the duty free shop at Padang Besar whilst you're there.
