Since I rent, I have a tenancy agreement which I can provide as supporting documents for UK visit visa. The tenancy agreement is a 36 page document but only has

4 or 5 pages with the key info - signatures, address of property, address of letting agent, etc. Can I just submit these key pages or do I have to provide the whole 36 page document ?

I'm also planning on taking a couple of photos of the property - 2 bedrooms, although this is mentioned in the tenancy agreement. Can't do any harm, can it?

You don't need the tenancy agreement and you don't need photos.

A simple letter from you describing the property and who else, if anyone, lives there plus, if they are willing, a letter from your landlord stating that they give permission for your visitor to stay there and that there is room for them is sufficient. I live in a rented property and that is all I have provided when successfully sponsoring visit visas for my step son and my sister in law.

Thanks 7by7, I'll certainly include the details in the invitation letter, but there is no chance of getting a letter from the landlord or letting agency. I live alone in a 2 bedroom flat (my young daughter stays over only at weekends) so there's plenty of room.

As 7by7 says, a letter from you will be fine, in fact just include a paragraph in your covering letter, details on accommodation are more important when an ECO is considering an application for settlement.
