Tracking Visa Application On Vfs Website

Featured Replies

My girlfriend applied for a vv last week and I have been checking the vfs website for updates. Today the status changed to 'The passport has been received from British Embassy, please collect the passport from the UK Visa Application Center where it was submitted'. Does this mean that the visa been approved? My girlfriend is upcountry at the moment and wont be able to get back to bkk for a day or so. Has anyone had the same status message on the website and if so what was the outcome?

Lopburiguy received the same message and his wife's visa was issued, so fingers crossed....

Scouse.

I dont mean to put cold water on this but when I checked the Australian Visa centres web site it said after 5 days the Application had been recieved back at the centre

But with a refusal for the TV

My wife was in the same position.Living up country and needing to trek down to bangkok with no idea if the visa had been granted.

She had exactly the same wording when she checked their website. She got the visa.I may be wrong but i think ,if the visa was to be refused, that wording would be different.

Fingers crossed
