IQX touch screen problem.

Featured Replies

I have an IQX and it seems that after been used all day the touch screen doesn't work. The phone doesn't seem to be hot. I eventually get frustrated and turn the phone off for the night and then in the morning when I turn it back on, quite often it will have to be turned on and off several times before working properly. Any suggestions?

It may sound daft but have you tried a full factory reset yet?

I had some issues with my IQX3 and after backing the whole phone up to my PC with Titanium Pro I di the factory reset. After that I reloaded my apps only and found my problems had gone away.

Hopefully it's a software glitch and not a hardware problem.

I did do one factory reset, it did fix some problems, but not this one. The touch function seems to occur about the same time every night.

Strange indeed. Maybe a loose connection or something similar that is affected by the phone getting warmer as the day wears on.

I think you may have to bite the bullet and take it to your nearest service centre. Here's the link to all the service centres in Thailand.

http://service.i-mobilephone.com/ (It looks like they've sorted out their malware infested website at long last).

I buggered up my headphone jack so I'll do the full factory reset before taking it in just in case they get funny about voiding the warranty.
