I have looked into this to help a partially sighted friend who's ALSO suffers from a shaking problem so just hitting a key is difficult.

We have made an interim….unsatisfactory…..solution of painting s few important keys with nail varnish.

I have thought of a possible system using golfball sized keys which I think would be useful for many, but cannot really help you……searches on Google didn't get me far.

Another possibility for those who can use a mouse well is to have the keyboard on the (large) screen and control by mouse and up/down/left/right.

But of course it depends on the degree of disability.

I use a keyboard with microswitches for faster typing. I never opened it, but I am sure these microswitches could be separated from each other.

One guy with basic soldering skills and one with woodworking skills could theoretically make a keyboard 3 times the normal size, which may look ugly but works.
