Just to let you know that I saw Dr Hiroshii Chantaphakul at the Bumrungrad Hospital (I had a lot of pain in my left arm which probably stems from an osteoarthritis). He gave me a quick going over and assured me that I didn't have a serious problem but told me that a 4 day course of Prednisone should take away the inflammation, which it seems to have done. As I live relatively far from Bangkok he has suggested that I might need some physiotherapy which the gov hospital in Koh Samui should be able to provide. When asked, he told me that massage was not the way to go.

Anyway, cost of consultation and medication a very reasonable 2800 baht.

Thanks again Sheryl for your advice.
