Not started 2 weeks post exposure, surely!

CDC guidelines are to start within 3 days and the sooner the better.

After 2 weeks, it is too late.

OP can, however, at this point get a PCR or NAT test which can detect if the virus is present even though antibodies will not yet be present m,and this may bring some peace of mind.

not quite true dheryl. Truvada plus prezista or.... Triple combo including t-20 for 3 months is known to have very positive outcomes

Please post a link to your source. I am not aware of any PEP guidelines or studies which would support initiation of PEP >14 days post-exposure.

Also don't know of any that would recommend PEP for a single heterosexual exposure with someone of unknown HIV status.
