Bloody flies everywhere. They must be harvesting fruit somewhere?

Damn, I thought this was the "hang glider" forum! Do those sticky mouse traps get flies too? It's right that the solution is at their breeding grounds, and not to treat the symptoms once they're airborne. Those old hanging spiral sticky paper tubes from the US worked OK. Haven't seen any here.

In this Province not somewhere. Everywhere. Jackfruit, Rambutan, Mangos & Durian. If yoiu are right near the orchards, the fruit flies are enough to drive you insane. I live on a a fruit farm, surrounded by fruit farms. So, I am stark raving bonkers.
