Esthetics & Implant Clinic recommendations please

Featured Replies

I am in need of extensive dental work. Several implants and crowns.

I came across this site for Chula University implant clinic.

http://www.estheticchulaclinic.com/

What I would like to know is has anybody been there and what are their experiences.

I would also appreciate any other recommendations. The clinic does not have to be in Bangkok.
I can travel anywhere within the kingdom if the price and quality is worth it.

If you google dental implants in Thailand you get too long a list and there really
does not seem to be a way to realistically compare and rate them.

The price is also an issue. This much work will probably be more than 400 000.

What I am trying to say is, I know this will be expensive, but I am not willing
to pay double for fancy farang only clinic, if the same job can be done as well in
more meager surroundings.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

400 000 will not secure much "extensive" dental work which includes "implants"

Best you secure a clear idea of what work is needed from a dentist at home and then seek quotations.

. I wrote that the cost will be more than 400 000 and I was

asking for clinic recommendations. I would not do that if I had not done my homework first,

I have not heard any feedback on this place.

Least expensive option I know of is the Mahidol dental hospital. However with implants the ocst difference may not be that greaty as most of the cost is the implants themslves, not the labor.

Quality there is fine but being a government hospital, there will be red tape and long waits entailed, hard to arrange by emnail, extra visits just to set thinsg up/run the gauntlet of being screened first by a general dentist etc. If you have more time than money this is fine, if not you may want to consider a private place. Not only farang but also middle and upper class Thais frequent these, for reasons of time and conveneince. The Dental Hospital oin Sukhumvit Soi 49 is excellent. Clientele from what I see about 50:50 Thai and foreign.

You might also want to look at Roomchnag Dental Hospital in Phnopm POenh, less expensive than Thailand and good quality.
