Can i use my 5 year motor and motorbike licenses to drive for 2 months in UK ?

Yes, you can.

Steven is it that clear cut? I would really like to know ...The guy is from the UK ... the guidelines say .................

You can drive for up to 12 months in the United Kingdom as long as you have a valid licence from your own country. You don't need to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) but if your own licence has been issued in a language other than English, you may want to consider buying one before coming to the UK.

So which is his own country? that could be important .... For me although still a UK tax payer I am non-resident and not ordinary resident so it is probably ok for me to use my Thai Licence in the UK as by definition I think the it's not my own country but my passport is British ... My UK licence has lapsed as I did not renew it after 10 years and anyway you must live in the UK to use a UK licence.

If anyone has the definite answer please confirm

Actually I have just e-mailed Budget Rental in the UK to see what they say
