Looking to expand my fly-fishing business

Featured Replies

Hello,

This is my first post to the Thaivisa forums, and I apologize if this is in the wrong section of this forum.

Currently, I am one of the largest fishing flies suppliers in the Midwest, and utilize American fly tiers and Kenyan tiers. I am looking to further expand my business. When I deal my Kenyan tiers, the shipping costs are killing me. Also, when I export my materials the shipping is adding to my bottom line. Also, the flies that I receive have been unreliable. Some of the flies are amazing, and others I can't even sell. I end up giving away 1000's of dozens per year.

I am contacting this forum, because my google searching trying to locate a "Fly Tying Company in Chiang Mai" have left me still searching. What I am looking for is located below:

1.) A company to produce my companies signature patterns in bulk. Thousands of dozens per year.

2.) A company that uses quality materials.

3.) A company that uses strict quality control. And where every fly of a pattern is tied exactly the same.

4.) A company that can also produce generic patterns ie Adams, BWO, GRHE, etc

5.) A company that is willing to grow with my company as we continue to grow

I understand if this post is moved to the correct location, as I may have posted it in the wrong location.

Thank you for your time!

Have you tried......?

Thai-A-Fly Ltd.

One word: "Mexico". They can make Fords, refrigerators, mobile phones; they can make flies.

I'm guessing most of the stuff already being sold is made in China anyway.
