90 day report question (for child on ED visa)

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is a repeat post, but I've been looking through the forum for about an hour and I can't find anything relevant to my question.

My daughter is at school so therefore has a 1 year ED visa. I took her at the beginning of February to get the extension and have the 90 day report paper in her passport with a date for the end of April. So all good.

My question is ; Can I go on her behalf to do the 90 day report or does she have to be with me?

It would of course be much easier if I could do it solo ( she gets easily bored!!) but I've had conflicting advice as to wether this is possible. Does anyone have any experience of this?

I would be most grateful if someone could clear this up for me

Many thanks.

I don't think I've heard of any mixed reports with someone else going in for the 90 day reporting. But the immigration policy is to allow someone else to submit the TM47, agencies do it all the time.

Thank you for your prompt replies and information.

I shall trot off to immigration on Monday (alone) and get that done :)

Sorry, Tywais... the mixed reports is in regard to reporting by mail to Chiang Mai Immigration.. I should have been more specific.

I just now noticed the "mailed reports" in your post. Note to self: read more slowly. biggrin.png

That;s because I edited the post after you noticed it wasn't there. YOu read just fine.

Seems like there are plenty of children on this forum; perhaps one of them will help you.

The wife has done my 90 day reporting several times with no problem. Today I went at 14:50 and it took a grand total of 5 minutes.
