Kerry and the entire US State Department is a very very dangerous unit.

The US needs to take a step back unless they want a full scale conflict with Russia..... This is NOT a tin pot country we are talking about, this is a superstate with backing from China... It will NEVER yield to the US bully boy rhetoric.

A very tricky time is upon us, and as usual the yanks are stoking it.

It is time the UK pulled away from supporting this dumbass regime, because the UK will probably be the first target on the hit list while the US knows they will be the last and have the luxury of pulling back after plenty of damage has been done to its supporters.

Let's just hope if an attack is inevitable... They hit the US directly.

I repeat..... RUSSIA WON'T BACK DOWN... THEY HAVE TOO MUCH PRIDE.

You are forgetting all the other players with very itchy fingers.

North Korea who is itching to attack the South and US has to help

China and Japan and US has to help

Iran, Syria and US has to help

Russia will only make more money out of it by supplying weapons, how exactly is US going to deal with all the players?

North Korea wants peace, but US is blocking it.

Iran and Syria, the US is the conflict

And the USA makes huge money from the weapon sales....

Go to the back of the class and put on the dunce hat.

Wanting peace is not being a traitor. Starting wars based on lies, destroying the economy and the Constitution certainly warrants a closer look at the term 'traitor'. Keep GitMo open for those that really belong there, the war criminals and those that hide them from prosecution.

The comment he was replying to was delusional. It had little to do with promoting "peace".

good luck with the love and peace.

One day, perhaps humanity as a whole will get there.. But as of yet, there are more than just a few "conflicts" going on. If I were to believe everthing I read on Thai Visa, I would then have to admit several things...which go against my own self respect. Here is what I am reading.

1. America is the cause of all the world troubles

2. America wants every currency in the world to fail...and take over the world economy....single handedly.

3. My mom, dad, and daughter are all stupid because they live in America.

4. There is no need to do anything. You simply sit on your tush and, magically, everything will work out for the best.

5. Every single person in the World is thinks America is wrong...one hundred percent of the time.

6. The president is the ultimate dictator in world history.

7. Democracy is impossible...because educated people are too blind and dumb to worry about it.

8. We hide aliens in secret mountain bases, they have super technology and we stand ready to circle the planet with green men and flying saucers.

.....Stupid....is it not?

This is like the old Ozzie and Harriet movies...'

Everyone has this picture in their little minds of what Americans should be, say or do. But most of these people are not Americans...or perhaps they are just pretending they are. The church I went to in upstate new york is now a mosque. There are more signs in korean and vietnamese in my old neighborhood than in English

Perhaps the Americans you see in Thailand are not representative on what you would see in...for example...the bible belt of the southern states of the union, or the little old lady from pasadena, or the gals capping beers in Milwaukee.

The only trouble is, these images and conclusions are based on nothing except what somebody feels.. such as jealousy, rage, helplessness, or infertility. Perhaps a Cassandra complex. They know the future..but are helpless to do anything. More than likely...it is just pathetic individuals that have no inkling on how to stabilze world economies, but become instant experts on knowing who is at fault.

I can't express the fun and joy from reading all the posts here.

I really love you guys, - all and one.

The 'Yankee Go Home' brigade. The 'We are the Saviours of the World' brigade. The 'Obama is piss weak' brigade. The 'Putin is Hitler cum Stalin' brigade. And so on...

Special Commendation goes to 'Russians have Pride' platoon alongside with 'Ukrainian Democracy' and 'Crimea for Russian Language' squads.

Please, stop and let us be serious for a moment. Let us discuss the geopolitics in earnest.

Russia does not care about Russian speaking people in former Republics (now independent states). It can be used as Pretext maximum.

Russia does not want to grab the lands of neighbouring states (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Poland, etc., etc. etc.).

Russia does not want and will do anything to prevent from happening Ukraine in NATO and loss of its Sevastopol. Thus, taking of Crimea. And they will do more to stop NATO coming to Ukraine.

Not because Russia is a warmonger. If Obama was the President of Russia he would do the same thing Putin did.

Am I the only one here seeing this? Or am I seeing things? Or don't you want to see this?

USA have destabilized Ukraine (by their admission, but we all knew this anyway). Well, the result was not in their favor. It's a risky business. And this is not their first mistake. Who likes a poor loser?

Obama can have the prayers of all the mullahs behind him, but he must be careful not to make blunders in future. Like Sanctions he is talking about. It's a risky business all over again.

Peace be with us all. coffee1.gif

Traitors? you mean because some of us do not support US foreign policy? or because some are not as patriotic as others and can tell right from wrong?

Treats made by Kerry and Obama are futile. Sure something needs to be stated publicly that reaching some kind of conclusion in a peaceful way is necessary, but these threats are pointless and only make Kerry and Obama look helpless. Putin is running the show in Russia. Obama is running nothing. Obama came to the Presidency with absolutely no experience in international political affairs nor the ability to orchestrate anything in the way of building consensus among people. He is divisive in his handling of internal political affairs and weak in his handling international affairs. I am in agreement with many in that the United States influence in the world is declining. While the US is able to use its money and military to influence things, this is waning. There are more powerful forces at work which are basically beyond the ability of any one country or group of countries to influence outcomes. While I do not claim to be knowledgeable of all the internal politics of the Ukraine, it is clear that there are ethnic, political, and economic differences among the peoples and regions of the Ukraine. Putin is taking advantage of these differences just as the United States has taken advantage of situations like this in the past. The United States must somehow come to the conclusion that it cannot influence everything that goes on in the world be it Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, the Middle East, or the Ukraine. It is time the US stopped playing the chess game on the world chess board and rebuilt itself as a world economic power. Obama and Kerry cannot compete with Putin. The more is see of Putin, the more I think his intellect is far superior to Obama. He may not be a nice guy but he is a smarter guy.

.

I wish you had the experience of living in Russia for the rest of your life and then posting on TV in later years.

I believe ABCer pretty close to right. Well except for I don't think obushma has, not has ever had any prayers from Muslims behind him, except maybe that one of his assignation, civilian killing drones goes astray and lands on the White House. Contrary to ignorant right wing idiots, he is not a Muslim, nor a liberal, nor a commie, nor a scocialist, far from it. He is to the right of President Eisenhower. He is the pawn of banksters and Wall Street, i.e. neoliberal which in case people don't know has nothing to do with being a liberal.

" He is the pawn of banksters and Wall Street "

it would mean the American people would be dragged into yet another war, not because they want to or bbecause they support it and certainly not on grounds of patriotism, but directly because of the financial interests of a handful of people who really run the countryph34r.png

I do not believe he is a pawn of bankers or wall street.

The Ukrainian fiasco is not his master plan, he is now more like in damage control, though someone behind the scenes is really pushing for armed conflict

From a pretty reputable source. Seems like the warmongers on TV are outnumberedgiggle.gif

Americans Want to Pull Back From World Stage, Poll Finds

Americans in large numbers want the U.S. to reduce its role in world affairs even as a showdown with Russia over Ukraine preoccupies Washington, a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds.

In a marked change from past decades, nearly half of those surveyed want the U.S. to be less active on the global stage, with fewer than one-fifth calling for more active engagement—an anti-interventionist current that sweeps across party lines

To put it mildly, I do not think that Vladamir would be even remotely receptive to Mrs Clinton's "feminine charms"!

Do you think he's "in the closet?"

Thanks, sgtsabai, for your good word.

But do not overrate my passing comment. I was simply referring to Obama's request in Malaysia: "Pray for me". Nothing more.

I am by no means a supporter of Russia or a pro-Putin person. Just pointing out that Putin in this game of chess outclassed Obama and all his Admin. He is a very clever, cool and Legally minded politician.

And he has given assurances that he is not going to invade militarily Ukraine.

Yet the stupid ignorant and uncouth Ukrainian Gov't has to be very careful together with their USA buddy advisors.

The reality there is such that Putin and Russian army do not need to invade.

Given the %% of Russian population in Ukraine (especially in the East half) given the lack of stability in Kiev, given the thieving chain of Gov't in Ukraine, given the economic chaos and stupid Nationalistic anti-Russian policies

all that is needed is a few hundred unofficial military advisers, a truckload of arms and ammo and an unofficial nod from Moscow. No need to send Red Army.

Hope some people understand what I'm saying.
