Short answer, no! Looks like something we would have sold back in the 60's and while there are some cars from that time I'd pay that money for they're far more sporty and increase in value instead of losing it, the back of it looks like an old Caddy, in fact the entire car looks like a Frankenstein car with bits from older cars and that's not surprising considering they design and build their motorcycles the same way.

w00t.gif That dash is hideous!!! What is it?? Looks like elephant sperm floating around and the gauges are in the center where you have to look away to even see your speed? Even worse small and very cluttered into only a few read outs so you have to search for what info you're looking for while driving? Terrible!

Maybe they built it on the same platform as the Yaris to save some money whistling.gif

For some reason it reminds me of my Uncle Percy's Simca Ariana (Ariano ???) from the 60's. That combined with the thought "Why the he11 didn't they rent a Maybach or Roller to pinch some good ideas" like body styling that works!

My missus, who's Chinese BTW, says if she had an extra 800,000 lying around she might consider it as an historical relic keepsake of the Chinese automotive market, she may be onto something giggle.gif .. Maybe it will be worth 800,000 if that day finally comes whistling.gif ..

That looks a bit like a Princess from the early 60's....before Nissan bought Princess. Probably copied by the Chinese and still being made....biggrin.png

Proper Princess looks much better

I misread the title and thought this was going to be a snooze-fest discussing the pros and cons of bottom-end Corolla's and Civics :P

it's a Simca.smile.png

That's what I said!!! The Japs were pinching every design they could....and styling as well. Have a look at anything on 4 wheels that was coming out of Japan in the 50's and 60's!

My Aunty Ethel's 65 Humber Snipe looked nice than a Princess....plus she put wooden blocks on the pedals being short herself, but it was just right for me to drive as well. biggrin.png

"Somehow think the Super Snipe looked better" Yes, I agree. Aunty Ethels was the 4 headlamp model.

I thought it was a very sexy looking car, probably styling done by one of the Italian styling houses....Luigi's I think, but I was going through my love affair with several Italian screen beauties at the time so even spagetti bolognas looked sexy! Oh, per l'amore

BSJ... Maybe, but the problem for the Humber as well as the Princess was the M2 Jag.. The Jag cost less, the 2,4 Jag was just over £1,300 back then... both the Humber and Princess cost over £1,600 back then... even the 3,4 Jag and the V8 Daimler were more powerful and cost the same as the Humber and Princess.. The Rover 3.5 V8 P5 cost back then £1.800........ and today as a classic the Jag cost many time more to buy.

555 The Russian's really have style nailed down.....and hidden away in one of the last remaining Gulags somewhere in the wilds of Siberia. Picture guards with furry hats, AK47's and German Shepard attach dogs patrolling the perimeter. laugh.png
