Dumb question number 123 how early do I need to arrive at Phuket airport for a flight to Ko Samui?

Just rock up at the tarmac, look for the Bangkok Airways ATR 72 with the cardboard sign on the windscreen which says 'Samui'. Walk up the stairs and take a seat (first come, first served). When the plane is full, they will taxi for take off and an attendant will walk up the aisle and collect payment from you.
