Professional behaviour assistance for toddler

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen a professional behaviour type therapist for a toddler in BKK - if such thing even exists.

We are having immense problems with our 3.5 year old at nursery with biting, tantrums and disrupting the other kids. The school has requested a meeting with us.

Our kid seems smart and switched on but this behaviour is getting out of control and we do not know why it has started like this and what to do about it. All advice welcome.

If this is completely new behavior and he previously was fine both at home and at school, something major has happened and you should try to find out what it is. Could be any sort of traumatic experience, or bullying by other children.

If on the other hand this problem has been present since he started school there could be an underlying disorder like ADHD or Autism Spectrum disorder that makes it hard for him to tolerate the school environment.

Samitivej Srinakarin Children's Hospital has excellent facilities for assessing/treating behavioral problems in young children.
