Wow. Nice patriotism and can do attitude. Guess you arent the type to pitch in. Would you answer the call to use your skills to train others? Would you come out of retirement to fill a job in 7-11 so the High School kid could go off to learn to build or machine? Would you answer the call of your country to fight an ECONOMIC war? Even if its just to drive a cart of screws from one building or another? Or assemble those annoying boxes? Yeah dude, that could free up some folks to do the harder stuff. We dont have a huge underclass of muscular young men in our inner cities that could be trained to work like we did in WW2, when housewives made VT fuzes? Oh wait, they are black and minority, they cant be taught right? Hell, they dont even know how to get an ID. Anybody in general: Where are all the cheers for a policy that intentionally or unintentionally saves the environment and helps the world by reducing demand? Where are the cheers from folks who last year were screaming about "over consumption" and "dwindling resources" and "exploitation" and "plastic", usually while wearing clothes out of a closet filled with the throwaway fashion churned out by teenage slaves in the slums of Phnom Pen or Saigon. Vietnam is in town. Where are the calls from the Dems to include WORKERS RIGHTS in negotiations? Shouldnt we insist on correct worker treatment? Naw, they will just screeeech about Trump, better to let the slaves starve so we can use their existence as weapons. -

Nah the 125% or 145%? Not keeping up with the numbers. That´s just something that will hurt USA more than China. China and it´s people does not nearly depend on US products as much as US depends on Chinese products. Just think about how many companies in the US that imports Chinese products and sell in shops, markets and online. All those will have to shut down, as the prices will sky rocket. 2023 China exported products for 501 billion dollar to the US, while US only had 148 billion dollar worth of export to China. There you see who is going to last longer. That´s has nothing to do with Covid, and if it has then Trump has gone the wrong way again. -
