Popular Post Eloelo Posted May 19, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 19, 2014 Poor Bloke isn't having much luck is he! First his wife leaves him because he is poor, then his grandmother dies, then he gets caught for robbing a bank ! I don't know what is sadder. The shallowness of his wife. The grandmother passing or the unfortunate situation of being snitched just when you thought you had the game sown up.either way I guess he will have time to ponder his actions. And in a quiet moment will probably say to himself..what was I thinking and who can I trust..while being asked to bend over and pick up the soap! sad days indeed. 3
catweazle Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Thailand - hub of "angry wifes" Would be a nice addition to the angry birds game, shooting angry missus against a brick wall... btw - No finger pointing! I'm disappointed!!!
Coppernicussing Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 An inflammatory post has been removed as well as a reply. "he he" the entire article is...guilty!
Coppernicussing Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Poor Bloke isn't having much luck is he...while being asked to bend over and pick up the soap! sad days indeed. It could be worse. It could have been YOUR money he decided to steal!
pacman32 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Something i see all to often that Thai's do not have any understanding of what so ever................consequence!
mrowe1973 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 He should have sent her to work in a go go bar and took her money to pay for the gold. I see it all the time
Donk Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Thai women do not want a husband! They want an ATM machine that they can draw money out. I live in Thailand but the bad experience would never choose a Thai wife again! Now is the playboy life that comes on my terms! But no bar girls! Twice the fun and half as expensive!
Jing Joe Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I guess this shows love for a person does not outweigh love of money in Thailand. Regretfully I confess that money speaks far louder than love to my Thai wife and she/we are not even in Thailand. It's probably an inbuilt security and cultural belief that stays with them forever and newbies might be forewarned. The unbelieviable extremes of emotions can be almost totally devistating. She professes not to ador jewellery nor adorn like "false" Thai ladies do, but just give her $50 out of the blue and the cultural belief thing re emerges, and her heart and eyes just glow, for a few days, stabilising a downer. She's the lovliest lady, mostly, and I want her just like the robber did with his Thai G.F. Mine's a roller coaster life for sure but his life has a very big "dip" head in prison maybe. Surely no Thai lady is worth that?
Tom420 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I have been in the land of smiles for some years now and is it just me or in general are they ultra super jealous people when it comes to relationships? I find this often in my own partner (I refuse to marry and she is ok with that, also a few years older than me), but boy has she thrown some hissy fits in the past through jealousy. I want to know where this comes from, is it those stupid Thai dramas on channel 3, is it the Thai love songs that I cannot stand, what is it?
retell Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 We will do anything for the love of a Thai women. Speak for yourself, I won't do "anything" for the love of a Thai woman lol Sounds like you're looking down on Thai women?Or asian women not his type 1

She has gotten drunk and thrown things and smashed her own head into the floor, how is that going to look on me lol. She is ok 99% of the time though but sheesh, I have never seen so much jealousy in one nation.
ClutchClark Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 What's the proper ID etiquette here? Pointing at the perp or pointing at the helmet? The Point. I am really fascinated by this aspect of Thai culture. Both the Point and the admission of guilt. For a "point" to be effective, would it not have to come from a victim? Either the bank teller or the motorbike taxi? Appreciate any insight.
ClutchClark Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Really this is a sad story, because there are only victims. It's shocking what a man can do to try and win back the affections of a lady. It's easy to say, oh no not me, but this is a young man and we know nothing of the real circumstances. Anyway, now he will be sure to spend time behind bars and his wife won't even get to wear the gold necklace.. Was thinking the same thing, but there might be one winner in this. The gold jewelry dealer?
Strangebrew Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Hey Ting Tong no need to worry about wife plenty Farang here she will be happy long time and many times. Oh is she happier now you in jail ? I'll ask tonight.
ClutchClark Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I noticed that none of the BIB are smiling as usual. Poor fellows, nothing in this case to benifit them. Maybe they feel bad for the guy...every man has had a love interest go bad at some point.
HOOD Robin Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I noticed that none of the BIB are smiling as usual. Poor fellows, nothing in this case to benifit them. The one in the back (centre) is really performing his duty.... sleeping while he stands there.... OMG....
Krataiboy Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I guess this shows love for a person does not outweigh love of money in Thailand. Sent from my GT-S5310 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Yep, must have been Thai women they were thinking of when Western songwriters wrote stuff with titles like Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend, Hey Big Spender and Just Want A Little Band of Gold. I don't think. The unromantic truth about women across the world is that they tend to measure a man's love by what he gives them rather than the sweet nothings he whispers in their shell-likes or what's in his Y-fronts. They can't help it - It's in their genes. Another popular hit song from the West sums up the female attitude to romance: "Don't talk of love - show me", 1

Even though my girlfriend of 4 years can from time to time be jealous, compared to farang I know IRL here I feel lucky. I am not a walking ATM to her, I am young without a mass amount of money and we live quite a simple but happy life style. We get along and she can't speak English, sure we have arguments like any couple, but she is not like most Thai women I have come across in the sense she does not see a baht sign above my head. Some days I wake up and she has gone out and bought and made breakfast herself, she will come home from work (yes work and no not a bar) with food and stuff for me, good times. 2
Donk Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 In reading these posts, it seems that Thai women are starting to get a bad reputation and it's not just me who's been unlucky. Jealousy seems to be deeply ingrained in Thai hamlet and there is a competition between the ladies about who has the richest farang and how much money they can pump out of him. But a man may have a very good life here as a free and single. 1

Donk, every farang I know here with a Thia wife/girlfriend goes out a couple times a month and has a one-nighter or atleast an afternoon fling. Well, except for one buddy and he has a medical condition that Viagra cannot help. From what I have read, promiscuity is quite common even amongst the Thai and holds true for men & women. My wife used to be very jealous on occasion until she learned she can trust me. Once she realized that I am true to her, I have not seen her act jealous. When you say "free", I am guessing you mean without encumbrances? I can't imagine your chosen "butterfly" sex life comes cheap on the wallet ;-)

Totally agree, any Thai woman who start a fight with husband or boyfriend over money isn't worth living with, they all seems to be dissatisfied what ever amount you offer them, they obviously think sky is the limit. Kick out the bitch and enjoy short time girls
ggt Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I thought Thais...just beat their wives...until they shut-up....

I can't imagine your chosen "butterfly" sex life comes cheap on the wallet ;-) I honestly have only ever once and I was very drunk and that was 3 years ago. My sex life is fine enough for me and I am not a cheat, I vowed one thing in life, not to be like my father and cheat. When I slipped up that one time it felt horrible after, but yea I am happy enough in all honesty. Like I said I am no ATM, no old dude with a pension or a mass amount of moolah, we rent a house and I will not buy property here, she knows that, I will not marry or have kids, she knows that. Like you said, you feel lucky so do I. However, why do you cheat and do you think your missus cheats on you? How would that make you feel?
