All his assets in the Thai womans name already? You will soon see you husband crawling back to you, broke and desperate... then just give him a kick (guess you know where to kick for most effect.. alt=giggle.gif> ) and leave him on the street...

I agree!

Very Foolish and Dangerous Indeed!

Imagine if things were reversed. That on every corner was a massage place offering sexy men for soapy massages for women, entire areas devoted to sexy men on stage with chrome poles, fishbowls of sexy men, internet escort sites a phone call away and everywhere you went, sexy men that smile and flirt with your wife, regardless of age and looks.

I can't imagine it's easy for foreign women in Thailand, knowing that their men will be bombarded by sexy, money-grabbing "women" from the moment they leave the house.

How long would your girl stay faithful?

It's not exactly an even playing field.

But, I guess most women knew the situation the moment they stepped off the plane, and I'm sure most women think "my man loves me, he won't stray", but men are easily seduced. They only have enough blood to operate their brain or their penis at one time....not both.

If I was a girl, I probably would not bring my man to Thailand. Just far too many temptations.

Some used black magic to curse on the victim as he will always thinking of her, so I think your husband is beyond his control as some believed that he is under her curse, That lady have been telling lie to get sympathy from your ex-husband if a person who practice religion sex way no-no things to do more over taken other person husband will be punish in hell, if that man is not married then it's okay for her to fall in loved with.

I can see why your ex didn't give you any assets as he is under her control as some bad monks also found to practice black magic charm with his hair or date of birth,so you should ask local for help to get a good master to release him from spell.

Thank you for that post. You are an amazing guy. The worst part of all this is that after 7 years together, we finally got married. It lasted 10 months. We didn't even make our first wedding anniversary.

I gave up a very successful business in Australia, sold up and took my dogs and cats to move there with my husband. It took him 3 months to cheat on me. I couldn't believe it. As far as I knew we were happy and had a lovely restaurant. He wanted me to stay as we were a great team. Obviously I couldn't. He was sleeping with her at night and picking me up for work in the morning. How can anyone be so cruel? I was shattered.

Like i said before, cheated,it's Jasmine fever, you only have to look on here or numerous other sites or blogs; try Stickmans readers submission,to read endless stories of men driven completely beyond all reason by Thai women,i can't tell you why it happens i just know it happens,it just seems all sense goes completely out the window,i know i met my{ now] wife in Phuket was with her for a month and then had to return to Oz,to wait for an insurance payout,it drove me nearly out of my mind spending those three months apart,i could not go a minute of the day with out thinking about her,no other woman has ever had this effect on me.mind you i was not married to someone else at the time,i hope this from a male perspective can help you understand a bit of the effect Thai women can have on western men.

You should have hung around, ran the restaurant and figured a way to screw him back....a restaurant like that must have attracted some well to do foreigners and you could have had countless liaisons in the meantime. ...and watched his relationship slowly unravel with time......keep your enemies close and such....you did the wrong thing leaving, giving in/up etc.

Is it possible to cook up a story to go back and get into things...make a success out of it, turn it around into something positive and that'll really piss him and her off......

Then we can meet up for that sunday evening thing on the couch also...

The temptations for a married "Man" here in Pattaya are one too many for so many relationships, marriages go down the tubes because most men predictably succumb to the sirens of the streets and bars.

When I married my wife who was previously married for ten years to a German National whether she wanted us to live up in Khon Kaen near her Mum and Dad or in Pattaya where we had a house she said that If I went to live in the village within a short time I would be either an alcoholic or stir crazy.

You see she knew my personality maybe better than I did and after a few visits up to her family which lasted about 10 days on average I realized that it would have been a big mistake for me to try to accept village life.

Her argument for staying in Pattaya is that there is always something to do or somewhere to go.

That there are so many different types of people, societies and even some culture here that if you make the effort you will find a niche for your interests, hobbies or more important intellect.

Personally after ten years of marriage to my lady whom I love completely and who for the last 18 months has been suffering a terrible case of the menopause which has caused rows, fights and some depression on my part, I nearly fell into the trap in looking for some third party sexual relief.

The fact is that I have a conscience.

I made many crafty plans to achieve my objective and even paid for a couple of happy endings at a local massage parlor, Thinking in Clintonesk style that a hand job wasn't really sexual intercourse or in fact an affair.

Of course like Clinton I was wrong and before I went the whole hog I suddenly had a brainstorm and realized what a self center prick I had become.

There is a "Obsession with sex" culture here in Pattaya that is just as devious , dangerous and self destructing as any main line drug.

Those that are embroiled in the culture just like Junkies deny their involvement and obsession.

The sex obsession creeps up on a person with the insidiousness that is not recognized until it is too late.

The bars and sexual sub culture in places like Pattaya breed and stimulate an idea that this type of behavior is the norm, thereby enticing those with little or no conscience or intelligence that whatever they do with a paid for lady is OK and right.

I personally have known many men lose most if not all their wealth, position and maybe even integrity after their genuine lady wives found out about some clandestine affair with another sexual partner from the bars.

Is it surprising that when this happens to any woman in the world that the woman will react in the manner that they do in Thailand in getting rid of the offending husband and causing as much damage as they can, isn't there an old saying about a woman scorned ETC

The OP sounds IMO a great lady, very intelligent and doesn't suffer fools lightly as she has shown with some of her acerbic answers to some of the pricks on here who have deliberately tried to take the thread off topic and have a go at the lady for being nothing more than Western in origin.

You see Cheated, shit really does happen anytime to anybody and you are not unique or alone in that you loved and married someone who was mentally beneath you, in other words you were not equally "Yoked" a grand old Yorkshire saying that makes perfect sense in your situation.

Like I said in my PM and others agree with on here "accept your pain as a stepping stone to somewhere better and move on"

that doesnt alter the fact that they are bikkhuni and they live in a wat.

True but 30 in the whole country isn't a lot is it.

so what? the original premise was that not many WOMEN live in wats. and in fact many do

Let's agree to disagree. It is very unusual in my experience for women to spend the night in normal wats.

WAT SANGHATHAN

MEDITATION CENTER

Accomodations : Laypeople stay in their own rooms

or in dormitories. Womens- and mens-areas are seperated.

Ordination : One can request to ordain as a monk or novice. One must practise as ordained layperson (Phra Kao) for some time before ordination.

I literally have hundreds of photos of women staying at normal wats. The girls all wanted to let me know they were not off messing around. Google meditation wat Thailand to find out how much in error you are.

My advise to you....move on. I know from your previous posts that you are just covering old ground.

He's gone....you are free.

Whatever reason he used, what ever b.shit it doesn't change the outcome.

Sometimes life spins you a ball you don't see coming and can't catch. Every time you bring this up you give the event energy.

If Buddhism is true then either two things are happening..either he has done you a dis service and karma will catch up with him. Or you did something to him in a past life and it's your karma catching up this time. Whatever you want to believe there is only one solution. Put this behind you, find personal happiness and move on as best you can.

Good luck and smile...there is a lot do good around.

Your wife is a very lucky lady. You are a gem and I hope she knows that. Thank you for your post. You are a very caring man to take the time to write all that.

I am okay now. The reason I asked the questions is I still have the apartment over there and he still texts me and is very threatening. Bottom line they want it and I will fight till the death before they get it from me.

My ex staff are still in contact with me and have kept an eye on things. They are very worried about her and that's why I asked if her story could be true. Is she really that devious? What am I up against? After all it is her country and she has the upper hand I think. Well he has told me that.

I am happy now and really want this to be over. Unfortunately it isn't yet as I need to sell the apartment and put the nightmare behind me.

Some bitter men on this site take my post as whining. I really just wanted some good advice. I am in Australia and it's the only way I can get some help. People's experience is the best advise. I don't need abuse from bitter old men.

Again thank you. Really I am okay and am moving on with my life and I have absolutely no felling for him whatsoever. I believe he will get his Karma and so will I. xxxxx

I wanted to say thank you for all the lovely posts and pms. I am moving on and I wrote that post as I still have the apartment in Phuket. They want it and are trying everything to get it.

I really wanted advise on her as he has told me recently that it's her country and she has the upper hand with the law. I got scared.

The best advise sometimes is other peoples experiences. Lawyers are no help as I have posted before.

I wasn't whining as some one suggested. I really didn't need the horrible posts. I was just hoping to get an insight of how devious she could be and what I maybe up against. It's hard when you live in Australia.

I am over him and have absolutely no feeling for a man who can treat his wife so cruelly. They will get their karma I'm sure.

I hope I can sort all this out when I return to Thailand next month and leave the nightmare where it belongs in the past.

Again thank you for all your help and words of encouragement. You have given me the strength to fight for what is mine xxx

If you are in fact "over it" I suggest you change your name from "cheated" to something less sad sounding

My husband met a Thai woman, I think she was his masseuse. Over a month or so she saw he was spiritual and did yoga. She told him that she had been living in a monastery with the monks for 7 years. She said her heart was broken because her Australian boyfriend went back to his wife. She also told him she hadn't had sex for 7 years.

She got my husbands birthdate and said the monk she took it to said they were meant to be together as they knew each other in a past life.

Needless to say my husband was enchanted and started an affair with her. I caught him out and left him. She now has all his assets in her name so I can't claim anything.

I ask the question, do Buddhists that live in a monastery act this way and continually go for married men? Also would she have sex with my husband after a couple of visits? I think not. I think she got exactly what she wanted and all his assets as well.

Any opinions????

I'm not sure what to make of this. I too had a Thai woman tell me she was convinced that we have known each other through several past lives. She's a well educated manager in a Japanese company in Bangkok, and not looking for a gravy train. I won't go into details here, but she was supposedly convinced that I was a specific Thai king in a former life, and was told a detailed story about it by a male monk. On another occasion, she told me that she showed my photo to a female monk and the monk supposedly recognised me and started crying. Despite knowing I have a gf already, she bought me gifts and paid her own way to visit me overseas. I'm convinced that she truly believes that we've know each in past lives. No scam in her mind. Her eyes would actually well up with tears when she told me certain things. All this is to say that the lady in your case may be a scammer or she may very well believe what she told your husband. And apparently monks will create or confirm such beliefs...

Btw, I've had several Indonesian women tell me never to tell a Thai lady your birthdate or give them an article of your clothing ... they believe that Thai women can use if for magic to romantically ensure you. Thais will say the same thing about ladies from Surin... thinking that they can do magic because of their supposedly Khmer roots. All very interesting. In the early days of my current relationship, I joked with my gf that she must have put something in my coffee for me to be so into her. She was very angry and offended and I had no idea why at the time.... now I understand. :-)

If you didn't leave your husband you would have him and his assets but it's your emotional response that caused this ball to roll down the hill, but as a women I doubt you see it. you're only worried about the assets aren't you? Life is a tussle lady!
