Most newer phones come with the ability to change the language to Thai by default, i know my old Nokia 7110 you could (i mistakenly changed it once) - i'm not sure about my current phone - I'll get the missus to have a looksee.

What phone ?

Cheers,

Not so easy! Mobile phone manufacturers generally produce different models for different world regions, and install the relevant language software for that region. So if you buy a mobile in Europe it will have various European languages installed. And if you buy a mobile in Thailand then it will have Thai, English, Malaysian, Vietnamese etc, but no French, German etc. (Simply because to install ALL language support would require a larger phone memory = more expense and greater physical size).

If you buy the phone here, some models can be changed so you can use Thai language, .....but, if it is a new phone, then you might be voiding the warranty....check with the ship you bought it at or plan to buy it at. I've found Jaymart pretty helpful.
