Your statement is ridiculous.

For those who want alcohol they can buy it from any ware as before and stock up

if they wish, it makes no difference to the 10pm curfew.

If people want to drink all night they can still do so, just not in public places after 10pm,

but in the comfort of their home instead.

you are correct in theory... but yesterday, the curfew announcement came on pretty short terms and I am not sure too many people either heard about it or had the time to stock up before the shops also closed...

friend of mine who is manager of a bar on beach road heard about it at 6pm and had to close the bar at 8pm (decision of the owner company) in order that his staff could reach home before 10pm...

I have heard many descriptions of Pattaya over the years...soberness...was not among them...

Do we lack some sense of humour?

Are you not familiar with satire ?

Sort of like Swiss, humour and satire...

The mom & pop shop opposite my house did a roaring trade in beer as people bought it on their way home. I sat there until midnight with sevral other people.

Ive got a banging hangover. so much for a sober Pattaya.

I've had a lot of drinking hangovers back in the day.

I didn't know banging caused hangovers.

Even when the farangs in Patts are not drinking and hung over, they still look drunk and hung over. You have to be a troll lol

To one old grouch, another old grouch- doesn't seem like an old grouch.

and you forgot: nothing on tv

At around 10 this morning many of the channels on Sophon were transmitting again. My wife has removed herself from clinging to the ceilings and now calmly doing her nails (tic).
