I know there's good Japanese food to be found in Bangkok, but could somebody specifically recommend good Japanese hotpot restaurants in Bangkok, in any budget category?

There are plenty at various prices in any shopping mall.

Too many to count, and more original, in the Japanese-frequented areas around Soi 55 (Thonglor) and Soi 63 (Ekamai). They vary from very reasonable to Japanese prices so check before you go in.
