bruceamstutz Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 For 8 years!!!!...I can't believe it and I'm sorry for it happening to anyone. However in all the Farang type bookstores for the past "8" years and before there has been dozens of pocket books written by ever Brit, Aussie, Barfly, and other Nationalities that give you the "LOW" down on relationships with Thai Women. If early on you would have picked one or two up and read through it you would see the exact same thing happening to other Farangs just like you NOW. There was also recommendations in most of these books that you hire a Private Investigator to check out your LOVEY for her honesty. One that come to mind is "SPYONTHAI". For a 65k+ baht you could have well save the heartbreak you now have and the money that you are out. Back to your original??? No you got about a snowballs chance in hell of seeing any of the money you gave her. However if it would help you get your head back on straight you can always find ways to get EVEN......
misterphil Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Im a lawyer and we specialise in cases like yours. Yes you can claim all of your money back. Its simple, just send us copies of your bank statements showing all the payments you made to her and we'll take care of the rest. PM me and il send you an email address where you make a one off payment and you will have all of your money back within one week. I take it the offer was made with tongue in check or are you as stupid as well. If this clown is as stupid as he makes out, im about to become a very rich man. 1
Gsxrnz Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 The OP's question reminds me of a friend who was going through divorce prodeures with his wife - both Farang. He was particularly miffed that he wasn't able to claim some fancy high end audio system that he'd installed in her car only days before she told him to get out. So being somewhat of a character, he suggested to the presiding judge that he be awarded one of her breast implants that he'd paid for, or at least have visiting rights following the divorce. The judge held him in contempt and fined him 200 quid. But he reckons it was well worth it to see the look on her face. I understand that some treacle or similar "managed" to find it's way into the audio system, so he was doubly pleased.
Monkeyrobot Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Sorry to steal your GF . PS thanks for the monthly transfer.
HOOD Robin Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 There is an "Ask the Lawyer" section in this forum. You should ask over there...... i hope the lawyer will not piss his pants...
Jonmarleesco Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Live and learn, I'm afraid. Cut your losses, and your outgoings. Loan, or not, I doubt you'll see the money back.
Andre0720 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Should the answer to your question be "Yes", Then the lawyers would not have time for anyting else......
KonKorat Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Let it be and move on,you could be paying high legal fees and still get nothing back.best of luck to you.
hawker9000 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 This just takes "there's one born every minute" to a whole new level.
nitehawk56 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Hopefully by now you have cancelled your monthly transfer, suck it up and continue with your life. As they say , there are more fish in the sea. Your not the first or last to be ripped off.

crazykopite Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Is this for real another stupid farang sending money to a girl who has most probably got another 5 guys doing the same thing it's called taking you for a ride and how the hell do you think your going to get any of it back !
globalspark Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I always suggest to first time arrivals,"Buy Private Dancer" read the book and yes when you think she is different time to go back home. As a long term visitor of this country I could write several books on the topic. Yes I have given money and got it back from x girl friends . Other who wanted a loan and I gave the answer was " sure I will give back when I have it"The next thing I would like to say just give what you are prepared to loose because 9 times out of 10 that will be the result. I have heard fools saying she is different, she loves me,Tell me would you give your gf in Australia x amount each month or give her $30000 to get married? the answer is NO so why do us fools do it here?
Beara Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 If you are still in Thailand it is very easy to get your money back, you simply go to her boyfriend and explain the situation to him, he will take you down to the nearest bank and give you back your money.Failing this go to any tourist police station, and explain, you must bring a photo of your girl, they will then take you to a nearby bank and hand over all the funds. Please don't over estimate what you have given her and try a scam, she will have it all documented by her lawyer and know what you gave her. There is one thing you should try before either of the above, get some vaseline and try shoving your head up your bum it should easily fit as there isn't a lot inside to cause an obstrusction at either end <deleted>!!! 1
ggt Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Truth be known...she probably has several monthly contributors who think they are her only boyfriend...she may have several Thai men who service her regularly...and have a husband which she visits from time to time...do not take your lose personally...you are among thousands of victims of the dating site internet scam...cut your loses...learn from this experience...and move on...
slipperylobster Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Spent subject. Money gone. period. If it were Sin Sot, you might get it back, if she broke things up. Beautiful girls are not poor, nor stupid. I never met one that was starving.
wvavin Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I find this very humorous. Hey mate! Have a cool bath and listen to some light music.
unanimosity Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Yes you can do GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD Luck Sure nuff, just show her how to convert $1 to $100 using special ink and then tell her you need whatever amount you have invested in her in order to get the special ink and pay off some customs guy to let it in the country. Then have her get the money from a loan shark and tell her you will only need the loan for about two weeks, maybe three. Hasta la vista, baby.
terminatorchiangmai Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 8 years in a relationship with this girl and sending money but not reading 1 book about Thailand and the girls that live here ? She must be very special and i am getting curious about her facebook page . i have some money over that i want to trough away.
Thaijack2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 One thing of experience and getting older is that you have to answer the same old questions over and over. Now we have internet and believe me I read a lot on the internet especially about Thailand. And if you are dating a woman over 8 years, I think you might as well and might as well know what kind of reactions your question provoces. You sound very simple minded: you kept the bank receipts. As if this has any value. Please. You didn't sign a legal contract with her, you don't have a money-back garantuee...Well, I can't add more then most folks on this site already said and I agree in the fullest with them. It is unbelievable how many people fall into this trap and think they can get away unharmed. And this is not because she is Thai. It is what you did.... So, maybe I can claim my money back from my ex-wife as she cheated a long time on me before I discovered it. No, on the contrary, I have to pay her, the bitch. BY LAW!!!!
tezzainoz Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Get a copy of the book "Jungle Fever". Your money was your money until you gave it to her. Lesson learned. I hope so anyway. Sorry but it's a story as old as TV Forum..., actually considerably older. Interested in you posting searched the net with no results Can you give us more info IBSM number Publisher rtc rtc
monkey1167 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 this guy must have his head stuck up his arse he is so full of sh?t. surely no one can be so stupid, or its a joke 1
Hrkurtjensen Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Not exactly the skapeste knife in the drawer. This is not the States where anything can be take to court. You must consider your money as lost. Move on and learn from this one.
Pii Kate Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Put steam back into the kettle? Walk away. Walk away, walk away and please, no follow up to this.
Hrkurtjensen Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Nope the money is gone. Not exactly the skapeste knife in the drawer. This is not the States where anything can be take to court. You must consider your money as lost. Move on and learn from this one.
