This is especially created for kids who really have no idea what an influence Music has had on the World over the last 100 years ! Especially the beginnings of Delta Blues into the Roaring 20s ,up to the mid 50s !
When talented musicians got together and mixed it all into a big melting pot of sounds, where color was only important if you were wearing a tie or eating a Psychedelic of some sort or another.
Then one fine day a Radio DJ in Cleveland ,Ohio USA somehow figured it out ,and had an epiphany of sorts to play a record and say :
" This is Alan Freed and this is Rock & Roll !"
I grew up in NYC listening to his Radio Show after he had moved to the big market of Radio programming that NYC was in the 50's !
The rest is history , so this tells a little bit of how we got there. All the songs are all pre R&R compositions or too close to say if it was B4 or near the same time , but only a few might come even close !
The recordings and Artists performing the songs can be from anytime , past or present ! Great music has no time limit in the modern World
The Wizard hopes you enjoy them, the dates that are listed , do not represent the date the composition was first created by its Composer or the Performers & all the Musicians ! .
Many great Dance numbers back then ,came from great musical numbers from stage & screen....Enjoy , BB

The Wizard many years ago stated :
The reason they are making Videos nowadays ,
is that some of the Music lately is so bad ,
they need to give you something to watch ,
cause it ain't nothing to listen to !
