In the context that I been raise in America and will be going oversea to live with my father due to my grandparent getting more sick per year. This context of how things work is a little different than how I understand it. From what I can see I'm because I have a Thai Card, but I was not really sure in the context of something like this ad posting. So I thought I ask here for other people's thoughts.

Did your American education fail so badly that you don't understand the concept of citizenship?

Are you an American citizen? Are you a Thai citizen? Perhaps you're a citizen of some alien planet?

To answer your question, I'm a citizen of both countries.

To answer your question, I'm a citizen of both countries.

So you have answers your own question, clearly.

But there could also be 'issues' about:

- Your Thai language ability. Can you speak read and write Thai fluently?

- Your knowledge of Thailand, Thai institutions, Thai documentation, the way business works in Thailand

- Who specifically to contact in various Thai government offices

- Who to contact in terms of buying various goods and services

etc., etc.

Only you know the answers to these points.

Good luck

If you have a Thai ID card and if you have travelled from the USA to Thailand with your Thai passport, not your US passport, ie you have chosen to be treated in Thailand as a Thai national, you meet the advertised requirement "Thai national only"

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. — George Bernard Shaw

You are a Thai national, thus can apply. They might expect you to speak and write Thai, but normally such referrence is to exclude people who need to apply for a work permit. Irrespective of the passport you used to enter Thailand, you do not need a work permit.

If your Thai language/writing skills are proficient, yes as you are also a Thai national.....Would offer you a job tomorrow....a Thai with Western attitude and work ethics is a definate bonus. Good luck on your new positionsmile.png
