TOT/Mict: Dramatical increase of available International Bandwidth ;-)

I noticed, that since a few(?) days, all major po*n sites are no more accessible via TOT.

Because I was in Europe when the coup happened, I don't know if this blocking is coup related?

However, this blocking should make a lot more International bandwidth available...tongue.png

It is coup related.

This po.rn has always been illegal in Thailand and should have been blocked ever since.

But now the regime has and will do more to centralise the internet censoring/blocking.

So this "mishap" of availability has been corrected.

English-handicapped Thai censors kill some non porn sites due to suggestive names to a non English speaker.

Other sites, real porn, escape easily due to innocent sounding site names.

It is funny to watch Thailand censor actions for "social uplift" reasons as a hit and miss activity.

What burns me is the cutting of DVDs because that involves a deliberate purchase of a closed source media, not even open to Web savvy users. Local sold DVD of BOOGIE NIGHTS is cut to ribbons, almost incomprehensible .

Red dish True satellite tv users (nothing to do with Red Shirts, just a garish red dish stuck on your house) could hear all of the "pussy for sale" speech (in case of censorship here, I mean the kiddie cat speech) in FROM DUSK TO DAWN in its first distribution, but the second and third distributions had the speech cut. Very funny.
