NCFC
Having worked over ten years with Thais, I can tell you there will be an unofficial hierarchy within the Thai team, even where workers are notionally at the same level. The Thai workers will take their lead from the unofficial head of the team. You need to identify who that person is and then persuade that person to do things your way. You can't do this in front of the team. Take this person for a coffee or lunch, make them feel special, tell them you want them as your wingman, get them to buy into what you want to do and if you succeed then the others will follow. If the unofficial leader does not buy into your way of doing things then you must find a way to sack him/her. In so doing you will demonstrate to the team just who is in charge.
