I really like the look of the C250 AMG Dynamic but its all imports right now.

A few issues with that:

You dint get to test drive.

Price is a little higher than the model that will be made in thailand next year.

I test drove the CLS 250 AMG - a lower model just to get a feel.

It felt underpowered and there was an appreciable delay between putting your foot down and actual acceleration.

It was also a bit noisy.

Benz will let me order an import with a 50k deposit that will be returned if i dont like the car, so i can get on the list 'risk free'.

Anyone out there driven the C250. It us stunning but i would love to know how it drives...

The CLS is above the C. You're thinking of the CLA.

I've driven a 2010, it's a small car and the interior feels cheap. The C250 in Thailand has a better trim though.

If you can stretch your budget a little, opt for an E class. They just refreshed the current model E class so it's a good time to buy.

Yup - you are right - it was the CLA we drove.

The C250 has a new model for 2014 - so not the same as the 2010.

For the E Class - the 4 door looks a bit uninspiring to me - reminds me of a Danish Taxi... The coupe is no good 'cause I've got 2 kids...
