CNN and BBC have been down on True for several hours....other stations which had been blocked during coup (like CNBC and Bloomberg) are working. Hope this is not a new action by the Junta.

I was also wondering why just CNN and BBC News are blocked today. Couldn't get an answer when I called True to find out.

I saw some negative articles on their websites mostly relating to World Cup games.....the junta seems hyper-sensitive to criticism so this must be how they responded.

True are probably super pissed because they got shafted on the World Cup. Nothing to do with the Military. Mine is working but I won't use True.

In all honesty, they probably still do not have defined procedures for requesting blockages, so any Somchai, Prauyuth or Korn associated with the Junta can probably ring up any ISP, TV operator and demand an immediate shut-down, without checking with General Poobah, who is micromanaging everything.
