I think that Van Morrison wins in the romantic song for this evening. I keep going back to him. And i can sing along too!!!

But that song will win every time. And liddle me forgot it....

Keep em coming...

Heard this many years ago and has remained one of my favourite sexiest most romantic songs ever.

.

anything from Sayan Sanya keeps wife happy,

so that keep me happy too wub.png

there had to be a Isaac Hayes track somewhere . Forget about Barry White

For your precious love.

Jerry Butler made this one famous but i particularly like the Garnett Mimms version.

Jackie Wilson

Soft summer breeze
Makes me think of my baby
I left down in New Orleans
I left down in New Orleans

Magnolia, you sweet thing
You're driving me mad
Got to get back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had

You whisper "Good morning"
So gently in my ear
I'm coming home to you, babe
I'll soon be there
I'll soon be there

She broke every heart in Thailand because she died at the age of 32, having left school in year 2 primary school, aged 9, to help her family cut sugar cane. She couldn't read but my god could she sing. She knew over 200 songs by heart. This song is about her struggles in life, pheung- bee was her nickname.

Very nice version of Nick Caves Love letter. Sad , reflective and perhaps romantic.

Does my bum look big in this...?

I sang that Friday to a Thai Hotel audience............whistling.gif ...............smile.png

Play her this one, one of his best.

I'm playing it right now - ahhh!!, that got her attention away from facebook wai.gifwai.gif

When you want to get her attention again try this one, Sayan with Pumpuang

yup!! got this and all duets from their concerts tagged in youtube. we listen the above a couple of times a week

This is so incredibly sad and yet it is the ultimate of romantic. I'll post the lyrics first because they are very moving....

"Beloved Wife" Natalie Merchant

You were the love
For certain of my life
You were simply my beloved wife
I don't know for certain
How I'll live my life
Now alone without my beloved wife
My beloved wife

I can't believe
I've lost the very best of me

You were the love
For certain of my life
You were simply my beloved wife
I don't know for certain
How I'll live my life
Now alone without my beloved wife
My beloved wife

I can't believe
I've lost the very best of me

You were the love
For certain of my life
For fifty years simply me beloved wife
With another love I'll never lie again
It's you I can't deny
It's you I can't defy
A depth so deep into my grief
Without my beloved soul
I renounce my life
As my right
Now alone without my beloved wife
My beloved wife
My beloved wife

My love is gone she suffered long
In hours of pain

My love is gone
Now my suffering begins

My love is gone
Would it be wrong if I should
Surrender all the joy in my life
Go with her tonight?

My love is gone she suffered long
In hours of pain

My love is gone
Would it be wrong if I should
Just turn my face away from the light
Go with her tonight?

I never stopped loving him. There is a statue of him in Montreux (which can be seen in the pics), this year they had a Freddie Day. They had a good turn out, Lots of sobbing people etc.

I didn't go, i had already put my flower on his statue years ago. It is in a very peaceful place looking over the lake and the mountains.

When i was in Zanzibar, i went to Freddies Bar with my sis and brother and we sang along to lots of songs. Quite touching.
