ESPN.com and CBSSports.com blocked

Has anyone heard a confirmation from the junta why they are blocking sports' news websites?

Probably due to concerns re: World Cup gambling.

Why anyone living overseas doesn't use a VPN is just puzzling to me....solves a lot of these types of problems.

Which vpn service is good? Or not good?

I use witopia. It was pretty simple to install and use, they have servers in a number of countries....plus, they have live 24/7 online chat help if you need it. You try it on a monthly basis for about $5.99 US or annually starting at $49.99 US. Seems pretty reasonable for what it allows you to do and the added security (especially). Other members may be able to suggest other VPN services.

Both espn and cbssports work for me - True cable in BKK

I use unblock-us and stream everything (US Content) via a Roku box. I finally had enough with True Visions and Thai TV in general. I pulled the plug, and it's a much better way to consume media.

Everybody streams tv here. It gonna be a deafening sound from all those people crying when they start putting usage limits on the internet connections like they do in Europe.

I use TOT , both were OK a minute ago.

Looks like ESPN has been unblocked - I guess enough people complained to the blockers that ESPN is not a gambling site. lol

I use a VPN when necessary to access a website, but I prefer not to use it when I don't have to since my connection speed drops when connected through my VPN.

Up until about two months ago you could watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report without using a VPN and they streamed perfectly well, but now a VPN is required and my stream has to buffer often.

I use Witopia.
