Someone said no farang girl would move to thailand if not for the sex part, sorry I have to disagree, I moved here and it has nothing to do with it. I enjoy a simple and relax way of life, far from the stress of Paris, and I do think that if it's not for the dirty looks some Western/MiddleEast guys give me, boys attitude here toward women is really polite and friendly. Used to be bothered by guys all the time in my country, and I enjoy walking in the streets here in some nice-not-too-sexy outfit here without being called a slut.

Sooo where would a young guy (I'm 25) go to meet "farang" girls? I'm not wanting to meet someone for the purpose of just one nigth of passion. I'd like to meet people with whom I can befriend and if I'm lucky maybe a girl I might have a relationship with. One can only hope.

Yeah it is true dude but the harbour wave disaster has pretty much gimped phi phi for white girls going now. All the scuba diving shifted to the Gulf of Thailand. Specifically Koh Tao. That island has plenty, however they seem to be your 'new age' hippy types and certainly not an easy feat to score one night stands with. The trend with falang girls travelling in thailand is usually - With boyfriend/husband, with a bunch of other girls who all close ranks when it comes to lads showing an interest. However I've also met a few couples who met out in thailand so there are opportunities!

All this about guys wanting to meet falang ladies in Thailand, I'm totally down with that but remember lads, like the french lady said a few posts back many are hear just to hang out and chill. I've met many that aren't even interested in a bloke out in thailand. Women seem to have an on/off switch for getting down to some loving. Us blokes tend to have the switch welded to the 'on' position (its the hunter gene thing!), something the 'entertainment' industry in thailand is more than happy to indulge!

A lot of falangs in thailand tend to forget that there are some real lookers from the ordinary scene ie students etc. In fact in comparison, I would say the ordinary girls I have go out with far surpass the bar girls in more ways than one!!!!
