Here is a nice guide to taking landscape photos a member has shared with us. I would love to see some comments and results if anyone cares to use it.

Whether you're a globetrotter or simply exploring your own backyard, capturing the world around you in a picture is simple when you follow our ten landscape photography tips. Next time you preserve a memory with a photograph, consider depth of field, focal points, and lighting to capture the perfect shot. Ready to take your hobby to the next level? Thanks for sharing that landscape guide with Us bazmlb.

Some good tips there, some I knew, most I try and do and also a couple more to be remembered.

I quite like landscape photography myself and it is something that I endeavor to improve on.

One thing that I try to do is when framing landscape I want to capture is always make the frame a little bigger than I

want, that way if the image does need leveling I don't end up cropping into the intended shot.

My camera has a built in level I can see on the screen but I keep forgetting it's there or to turn it on. biggrin.png But I always keep grid lines on the screen and use them all the time and if on a tripod, make sure it is one that has levels built in. But over-sizing to fine tune later seems a reasonable approach.
