Completed today 500 km with solar bike 3 wheeler within 4 weeks with zero emission.

post-213171-0-19010800-1403685009_thumb.The route is including several times Cape Promthep and the 40 km stretch Rawai-Kathu-Rawai

I saw this bike in the Rawai area.

Are these bikes available to purchase or is this one person's project?

In any event, pretty cool.

they are available without solar system at www.phukergreenbike.com,

With solar panel they are not easy to handle on the bad roads here,as they are quite top heavy. Not suitable for every driver, but can be made

I've seen this contraption getting around.

Looks a little crude but it's positive.

Good luck with your project.

Are they road legal and insurable?

I like these electric bikes.

My brother has one at home, Great for cruising around on, very smooth ride....cool.png

What speed does it do, is it fast enough to keep up to the thai ladies on motorbikes ??
