Friend of mine was at Racha Noi 2 days ago.

He was send away by the navy and told that Noi is belong to the navy.

They also start and build a little shack on the hill above the beach.

No one is alowed to get on the beach, they painted scull and cross bone on the bolders and also writing in thai and english.

Anyone has more info about this?

Offshore would be better to attract some fish.

And I guess that ship has sailed, the chinese own Phuket already.facepalm.gif

I've heard and seen nothing, but haven't been to Noi in over a week. 3 days ago the HMS Srirachi based at Cape Panwa 5th Area Command was at Raya Yai doing what looked like diver draining of some kind. They were about 500M off bay one. I will ask around to see if anyone knows anything.

Can confirm this, i was there about 2-3 weeks ago and told to leave, wasn't even close to the beach.
