I believe these firearms could be put to good use...arm gov't officials...teachers and administrators...utility workers and anyone else in the crosshairs of the Southern separatist movement...teach them how to use the guns safely and effectively...give them a chance to defend themselves...OK...all you gun haters...have your go at me...

Those guns would be captured by the insurgents who would then have access to more guns. The army needs to completely destroy the insurgents.

The army and negotiators have had over 10 years...nothing has really changed...over 600 innocents have been slaughtered during that time...If the insurgents know that their popular target have been armed...they may think twice before tracking down a lone teacher riding her motorcycle home...

And of course, the newly armed will use their newly acquired weapons just in self-defense. There will be no score settling,

no misuse of weapons for criminal activities, no accidental shootings of innocents, and no leakage of these weapons into

insurgents ranks. Training is bound to be effective as well and safety will be adhered to, no doubt.

Would much prefer less weapons spread around the country. Will save the time of having to search and collect them later

on.
