Well, let's think about this, the US institutions prefer London due to language. However, if they had to follow regulations that make their business in London impossible or too expensive, would they relocate to Paris or Frankfurt or just go back to New York? Probably Frankfurt or Paris. New York has already won really, it's purely a battle for second place. Perhaps the bigger challengers will not be Frankfurt or Paris, but Hong Kong, Dubai or Singapore. -

Low IQ democracy
Classic. I've learned something since starting this. Not only are loud speaker trucks annoying but there is blatant vote buying and then if that wasn't bad enough they use the position they've bought to enrich themselves by stealing from the tax payers. So it's a 3 step process: 1) Disturb people with loud sounds 2) bribe people 3) get rich at the peoples expense. This isn't even Thai bashing. I promise you forward looking and intelligent Thai people all over the country think this is rotten to the core and they're complaining too. The badgering with noise is just the tip of the iceberg but it's much worse than that. -
