Best way to MaeJo

Featured Replies

I live near KadSuanKeaw, move about on the bicycle. I need to go to MaeJo next week preferably using public trans, like a yellow bus. What's the best method, where will i find the bus terminal, and approx time of journey, etc? thnx

There is no bus terminal as such for the yellow or red baht buses BUT if you go to Warorot Market on Wichayanon Road north of the intersection with Chang Moi you will see Yellow an red baht buses lined up and a other 24 seater buses. These are the local transport. 16 baht at one time Doi Saket to the market 25 km and 30 minuets. Your only going about 14 km. Just ask who is going to MaeJo.

Green trucks go to Mae Jo. There are two stations in the city. One north of Chang Puak gate and the other along the river

edit: to. too. two...

Maejo is due north. Highway 1001 which is off the Inner ring road.

Approx 18km from city to MaeSae turn off.

Be sure to confirm with the driver that he/she is going to Mae Jo. There are 3 shades of green buses! Only one goes to Me Jo. Or look for แม่โจ้ on the top.

He's right about the many routes for a single color. Always best to ask before getting on. Many times the shades of each color will change depending on when the paint was done. If you don't read Thai, make sure to ask the driver first (for any Songthaew)
