What's your favorite coda/outro for a song?

Featured Replies

Some songs just fade out, others have great endings. I was listening to "Whiter Shade of Pale" (yes I'm an old fart) and it just kind of tailed off at the end. Not a very satisfying ending to a great song.

Anyway, I think my favorite is the ending to "Kitty's Back." How Clarence Clemons (RIP) holds that note is amazing.

I don't know how to attach a link you can just click on, or embed the video. The url below should take you to the song.

Oh there are so many but here is a few of my favorite endings:-

The B52's - Love Shack

Frankie Goes To Hollywood The Power Of Love

Also :-

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light

as well as:-

The Animals - The House of the Rising Sun

My Sharona - The Knack

Lost_in_space...seems like nobody really listerns to music on here, or maybe because

it is still early...anyway,

You can have a coda-outro that becomes an intro

To the next song, that also has a brilliant coda-outro….

Give this a listen to, at about 3.00mins to 3.50 mins is the outro-intro.

The coda-outro to last song is at about 7.10 mins

A fantastic piece of music (in my opinion) from one of the greatest composers of the 20th – 21st century

Alan Parsons Project -

Tales of Mystery and Imagination Edgar Allan Poe 1976

Have a Nice Day.

CODA starts at 10:02

Even if you don't like jazz deserves a good listen. Neil Jason lays down

one of the meanest Bass solos I've ever heard on this video.
