can someone pls do me a favor? Next time you're driving down Beach Rd and passing the corner of Soi 2, please drop in to the Beach View Hotel and get their phone number for me?

You're right - I don't think I'll get a room there for the 650baht a night I used to pay back in 2001/2002. Looks nice though, and they have a 50% off promotion atm. Might be worth a try out just to indulge myself a bit.
