St Mary's School Udon Thani - Cash Payments Only?

Featured Replies

Can someone here either confirm or deny that the St Mary's School in Udon has no bank account in it's name and only accepts cash or bank transfers into a teachers account?

Yes we have phoned the school on the published numbers on 2 separate occasions and this is what they told us. I find this disturbing at best.

I have receipts for previous payments made to the school [not made by me] in cash but now circumstances dictate that the fees should be paid by bank transfers and I staggered to hear that they claim to have no facility to allow this. How the hell do they pay their suppliers? I know that another associated school in Udon does have a bank account and is happy to receive fees this way, what's the problem at St Mary's?

If someone has diect contact information for the Mother Superior [or other head honcho] I would be glad to call her/him to confirm and discuss.

Cheers

Contact information for the school is here at the bottom of the page. (I did see in the OP that you have already tried this).

I pay tuition for my children's school in cash directly to the teacher when I'm too busy to do it myself. I know the teacher personally and by name.

Be careful in your situation. If you know the teacher personally and the amount of tuition you probably have nothing to panic about. The ladies in the schools admin office where my kids go are set up only to accept cash payments. It's unbelievable but true.

Hopefully some other TV members have children St. Mary's in Udon and can better advise you.
